The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Posted August 26, 2017 by Stacie

No, I’m not talking about Christmas… It’s not my birthday… Back to school is awesome, but I’m not talking about that either. It’s Lilly Pulitzer sale time!!! The After Party Sale starts Monday, August 28, 2017. It’s like Christmas only brighter. Lilly Pulitzer has two big sales a year, and the After Party Sale is my favorite of the two.

If you follow me on Instagram you probably already know that I’m a Lilly Lover. I love the bright colors and cool prints. On Monday, I’ll be waking up early and securing my place in the virtual line and adding some sunshine to my cart. I’m sad that I won’t  be able to go to the King of Prussia store this year. After arty Sales are awesome in store. Shopping is awesome, but I love meeting new fellow Lilly Lovers. The closest Lilly Pulitzer to me is about 2.5 hours away, but hopefully I’ll get to check out some of the signature stores that are a little closer and there’s also a Belk that carries Lilly Pulitzer.

It’s important to prepare for this sale because it can get a little crazy sometimes. If you’re planning to shop in store, definitely plan to get there early. If you’re shopping online go ahead and create your account on the Lilly Pulitzer website. The sale starts at 8am EST online and there is a virtual line so log on early. It’s also a good idea to use multiple devices. I usually pull up the app on my phone and I-pad and the website on my laptop. I’ve been #3 in line and then have the page refresh and then I’m #49573.  It’s also good to already know your size because all sales are final. If you do happen to buy something that is not your size there are plenty of Facebook Groups where you can trade or sell the item. It’s also a good idea to have a set spending budget and an idea of what you want to buy. For this sale I’ll be on the look out for Elsas, Popovers, and  shift dresses to wear in the cooler months.  Of course I’ll also be looking for Lilly for my mini. Bunny loves shopping, Lilly, and dressing like mommy. I’m hoping that our Lilly APS shopping will be a tradition for years to come.
